Annalise is a Limited License Social Worker (LLMSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) who has been working with children, adolescents, and their families over the last 6 years. Annalise earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northern Michigan University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. In addition, Annalise also earned an Evidenced Based Trauma Treatment (EBTT) certification from Michigan State University, where she completed a year-long educational program in child and adolescent trauma including intensive skills-based training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and completion of a course in Core Concepts of Child and Adolescent Trauma that uses a National Child Traumatic Stress Network Core Curriculum in Child Trauma. 

Annalise has experience in facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions. She also has a plethora of experience in employing evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Annalise has been formally trained in TF-CBT and Seeking Safety, an evidenced-based model aiding individuals with co-occurring PTSD and substance abuse. She has used Seeking Safety in both individual and group modalities. Annalise has an abundance of knowledge in Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Acute Stress Disorders, Trauma Related Disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders, and co-occurring disorders.

Annalise firmly believes in providing an individualized and strength-based treatment approach and uses person-centered therapy. She aids her clients in achieving resiliency and empowerment. Annalise truly believes that all individuals deserve to build and create a life worth living and is eager to aid them in achieving self-love and hope.

Annalise is an Upper Peninsula native; she was born in Calumet, MI and remained there until she completed High School. Annalise moved to Marquette, MI in 2014 to attend NMU and has been residing in the area since. Annalise lives with her fiancé and three dogs. Annalise loves to participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and kayaking. She also loves traveling and exploring the national parks.
