Cassandra (She/Her) is a certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC) and a specialized Acudetox Specialist (ADS) recently earning her Master of Social Work from Walden University in May 2024. Cassandra's journey is not just a professional one but a personal commitment to contributing to the well-being of individuals seeking support on their journey to recovery and personal growth.

Cassandra's professional path weaves through various roles, from being the Clinic Manager at Caught Dreamin’ Therapy, where she adds her touch to team support, daily functions, and marketing, to her time as an Outpatient Supervisor overseeing five behavioral health clinics. In both roles, she showcased leadership skills, expanding services, and contributing to the growth of the team.

With over 5 years of experience in substance use counseling and case management, Cassandra has worked in individual and group settings across outpatient and residential levels of care. Her expertise extends to roles as an Intake Coordinator/Case Manager and Residential Navigator, where she contributed to expanding services and utilization management.

While working in a therapeutic setting, Cassandra brings a wealth of expertise in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with integrating movement, humor, and mindfulness into her practice. Her commitment to empowering individuals shines through in her utilization of a strength-based approach.

Beyond work, Cassandra finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it's hiking, biking, running, or indulging in the worlds of television, literature, and music, she embraces a diverse range of passions that reflect her appreciation for life's beauty and the importance of balance. Cassandra also cherishes moments with her fur children (her cat and dog) and the people she loves. Her genuine and compassionate approach extends not only to her professional endeavors but also to the heartfelt connections she builds in her personal life.
